Connecting Partners Through Roadshows, Fam Trips and Industry Exchange

May was an exciting month for us and our teams, filled with successful roadshows, an international trade event, great fam trips, and valuable media visibility across our global network.

AVIAREPS Peru successfully hosted the second edition of its AVIAREPS “Around the World” Roadshow. The event brought together nearly 300 travel agents, giving them the opportunity to connect directly with leading international tourism brands, gain first-hand insights into current industry trends, and strengthen business relationships in a dynamic setting.

The AVIAREPS “Around the World” Roadshow – Austria Edition was also a great success, bringing together large numbers of travel trade professionals in Graz, Linz, Salzburg, and Innsbruck. The events offered an engaging platform for networking, product updates, and partner presentations, with the added enhancement of AI creating an entertaining and interactive evening.

Fam trips are one of the most exciting and rewarding parts about representing a destination or an airline, and it's always great to experience a product and a destination first-hand. In May, our teams had the opportunity to conduct several fam trips on behalf of our clients: AVIAREPS Benelux organised a Fam Trip to Malta with 12 Dutch travel agents, giving them the opportunity to experience the best of Malta and Gozo first-hand. The itinerary included Valletta, Mdina, a day trip to Gozo, the Three Cities, and several of the destination’s most iconic highlights. In Latin America, the AVIAREPS Colombia team for Brand USA, in partnership with Copa Airlines, led a Fam Trip with nine Colombian tour operators to Washington, DC, Fairfax, Virginia, and Baltimore, Maryland. The journey highlighted the strong potential of these destinations for Colombian travellers through culture, history, authentic experiences, and vibrant city life. AVIAREPS India, in collaboration with Sarova Hotels & Resorts, curated a Fam Trip to Kenya for selected travel agents from Raipur, showcasing Nairobi, Nakuru, Masai Mara, and Mombasa.

From Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh to Yen Tu, the trip showcased Vietnam’s culture, cuisine, landscapes, and premium hospitality while strengthening BestPrice Travel’s presence in the Australian travel trade market. Lastly, AVIAREPS France, on behalf of Tahiti Tourism, organised a unique Fam Trip aboard the Aranui V cargo cruise ship to the Marquesas Islands, allowing seven travel agents to discover the archipelago and experience the Polynesian mana spirit.
