AVIAREPS to support Viva Air as General Sales Agent in Brazil and Argentina

AVIAREPS has been appointed by Viva Air as General Sales Agent (GSA) in Brazil and Argentina. AVIAREPS, the global leader in tourism, aviation and hospitality representation with 65 offices in 48 countries around the world, is already responsible for the airline’s sales, marketing, reservation and ticketing activities in Mexico and the United States. Now, these markets will be joined by Brazil and Argentina. With the appointment of AVIAREPS, Viva Air aims to expand its presence in these markets.

Viva Air, headquartered in Rionegro, Colombia, and formerly known as VivaColombia, is the fastest growing low-cost carrier in Latin America. The airline’s main hub is in Medellín, two additional hubs are located in Bogotá and Cali, giving passengers a range of options for national and international connections. In 2017, Viva Air expanded its network further within Latin America by launching its subsidiary Viva Air Peru.The airlines recently launched direct flights between Brazil and Colombia as well as between Argentina and Colombia. Viva Air is committed to allowing its customers to fly more while paying less and consolidated its position as the second largest airline in Colombia, despite the pandemic.
