Malaysia Airlines expands and reinforces partnership with AVIAREPS and continues to invest in the European market

Expansion of partnership to Austria, Belgium, France, Scandinavia & Switzerland

Malaysia Airlines, the national carrier of Malaysia, has reinforced and expanded its partnership with AVIAREPS: The airline renewed the GSA contracts with AVIAREPS for Germany, the Netherlands, Spain & Italy and in addition also appointed AVIAREPS as representative in Austria, Belgium, France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.

AVIAREPS, the global leader in tourism, aviation and hospitality representation with 64 offices in 47 countries around the world, has been representing the airline as General Sales Agent (GSA) since 2013. Malaysia Airlines now reinforced the successful partnership by renewing the existing GSA contracts and by adding two new markets. AVIAREPS’ local expert teams in the markets will be responsible for the airline’s sales, marketing, reservation and ticketing activities.

Malaysia Airlines, headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, is part of the Malaysia Aviation Group and carries up to 40,000 guests daily across the Asia Pacific region and to destinations worldwide. Via its alliance with oneworld® the airline connects 1,000 destinations across 150 countries. The airline has recently been awarded the Best Customer Experience Award 2021, which reflects Malaysia Airlines’ exceptional customer support throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
