TAP Air Portugal selects AVIAREPS as GSA in Latin America, Croatia and South Africa

AVIAREPS to handle the airline’s sales and ticketing activities in a total of 16 markets worldwide

As of April 1st, AVIAREPS, the global leader in tourism, aviation and hospitality representation with 67 offices in 61 countries around the world, has been appointed General Sales Agent (GSA) for TAP Air Portugal in Croatia, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador and Panama. From May 1st onwards, AVIAREPS will additionally represent TAP in South Africa. AVIARPEPS’ local aviation experts in the markets will provide the airline with a full range of sales, reservations and ticketing services, to grow TAP’s presence and increase the sales.

TAP Air Portugal has a long-standing partnership with AVIAREPS since 2009, when AVIAREPS started representing the airline in Poland and Colombia. Today, AVIAREPS supports TAP in a total of 16 markets, including European key markets such as Belgium, the Netherlands and Turkey.

TAP Air Portugal, the state-owned flag carrier airline of Portugal headquartered in Lisbon, is a member of Star Alliance and operates flights to more than 90 destinations in 34 countries worldwide. From its hub in Lisbon and its secondary hub in Porto the airline offers daily flights to many international cities and to popular Portuguese regions such as Algarve, Madeira and the Azores.
