Reintroducing Palau’s Appeal to the Japanese Market as a Pioneer of Sustainable Tourism

AVIAREPS, the global leader in aviation, tourism and hospitality representation with 77 offices in 71 countries around the world, has been appointed as The Palau Visitors Authority (PVA)’s official representative in Japan starting from April 1, 2026.

Moving forward, AVIAREPS Japan will serve as the Japan office for the Palau Visitors Authority and implement comprehensive initiatives focused on travel trade promotions, public relations, and digital marketing. These efforts aim to enhance awareness of Palau and stimulate travel demand within the Japanese market.

Palau is currently attracting global attention as a leading destination for sustainable tourism, where visitors can enjoy travel while protecting the natural environment. This is symbolized by the world’s first environmental protection pledge, the Palau Pledge. In addition, the crystal-clear waters known as “Palau Blue,” which captivate divers worldwide, are also highly regarded among Japanese divers.
