AVIAREPS to promote New York City through strategic sales, marketing, and public relations services in Spain and German-speaking Europe
NYC & Company, the official destination marketing organization and convention and visitors bureau for New York City’s five boroughs, reappointed AVIAREPS as marketing and PR representative in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (the DACH region) as well as in Spain. With the opening of the US borders to vaccinated international travelers at the beginning of November, NYC & Company resumed the contract with AVIAREPS Spain and with AVIAREPS Germany – the latter will represent NYC & Company in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
AVIAREPS’ dedicated teams of tourism experts in Germany and Spain will provide NYC & Company a full range of sales, marketing, public relations, and MICE services to restore and grow visitor numbers from Spain and the DACH region. The teams will implement market-specific trade, PR, and marketing strategies to support New York City’s safe and responsible reopening for leisure and business travel.
New York City and its vibrant neighborhoods across the five boroughs Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Bronx, and Staten Island are ready to welcome back visitors. The city awaits international tourists with new attractions and openings: new Broadway highlights, hotel openings, breathtaking attractions such as the new observation deck SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, as well as new restaurants, art projects, and outdoor activities. By the end of 2021, New York City is expected to have 110,000 hotel rooms in active inventory.
New York City is not only one of the most exciting places to visit but also one of the safest from a health perspective. The city recently introduced the “Key to NYC” program, requiring people ages 12 and older to show proof of vaccination against Covid-19 for most indoor activities, including at restaurants, museums, attractions, performing arts and concert venues, sporting arenas, fitness centers, and more.
