AVIAREPS to increase airport traffic through online and offline strategy
Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) has chosen AVIAREPS as its sales and marketing representative in Poland. AVIAREPS, the world’s leading international representation, marketing and communications company for aviation, tourism, hospitality, and food & beverage brands, will support FBB’s traditional and digital marketing strategy in Poland to encourage more passengers from Poland to travel from Berlin. As part of the agreement effective December 2019, AVIAREPS will provide full representation, event management and marketing support, including digital support for trade newsletters and the Polish website.
The FBB currently operates Berlin Schönefeld Airport and Berlin Tegel Airport with plans to open the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt in Schönefeld in October 2020. Due to the excellent bus and train connections to the airports, Poland is an important market for the FBB, with Polish travelers making up an important part of the airports’ passengers. AVIAREPS will ensure that share sees steady growth before and after the opening of the new airport later next year.
Marek Slawatyniec, General Manager, AVIAREPS Poland said:
“The convenience and accessibility of Berlin’s airports are highly valued among Polish travels, who benefit from the German capital’s international connections. We’re looking forward to strengthening the FBB’s presence in Poland.”
Thomas Kohr, VP Aviation Marketing at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH said:
“We are happy to have AVIAREPS’ local expertise on our side to help us educate more Polish travelers on our airports in Berlin. With the opening of the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt, we will be able to offer the region even more accessibility and modern facilities. We are looking forward to working with AVIAREPS to bring that offering to more passengers.”
