11 May 2022

AVIAREPS, the global leader in tourism, aviation and hospitality representation with 65 offices in 48 countries around the world, today announced the appointment of Ralf Kuttruff as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Corporate Affairs Officer, effective immediately. In this role, Kuttruff will oversee the company’s financial strategy and operations, including investor relations and corporate affairs.

Kuttruff will succeed Heinz Knolle, who joined AVIAREPS in 2017 as Head of Finance & Controlling and took over the position as CFO and Corporate Affairs Officer in September 2019. Knolle will leave the company at the end of June 2022.

Kuttruff brings to his new role more than 20 years of experience in finance. Before joining AVIAREPS, he held various leadership and CFO positions at well-known international corporations such as Arthur Andersen, Heye Group/DDB, Ketchum Pleon (both Omnicon Group companies), Booming/Local Performance (Holtzbrinck Digital/ProsiebenSat1), Haeberlein & Mauerer, CONGIV and Robur Network Services (ROBUR Group).

Edgar Lacker, Chief Executive Officer, AVIAREPS:
“We are pleased to welcome Ralf Kuttruff to the AVIAREPS Management Board. The appointment as CFO comes at an exciting time for our company as the tourism and aviation industry worldwide slowly recovers and travel around the world is on a good path to reaching pre-pandemic levels again. At AVIAREPS we further prioritize growth and aim to support the tourism recovery around the world. Being able to grow our network of clients and open new offices in several countries around the world makes us proud and optimistic about the future. We sincerely look forward to Ralf joining us on this journey of recovery and growth. His impressive background of diverse finance experience in large and mid-size organizations will make him a strong partner as we execute our growth plan. On behalf of the entire AVIAREPS family and especially our board members, we would also like to sincerely thank Heinz Knolle for the energy, passion and commitment he has consistently brought to the company. He played a key role in maneuvering our company through the challenges and difficulties of the last two years and had a major impact on bringing us back on track after the pandemic. It has been a pleasure to work alongside Heinz and on behalf of our executive team, we wish him only success going forward.”
Heinz Knolle, Chief Financial and Corporate Affairs Officer, AVIAREPS:
“From the very first day I joined AVIAREPS, I was excited about the opportunity and that excitement never wavered. It was a significant personal accomplishment for me to lead AVIAREPS through the challenging times during the pandemic and to bring the company back on track as soon as the borders reopened. The opportunity to refine AVIAREPS’ financial operations and to work with colleagues all over the world in a leading global company has been a great pleasure. I am grateful for the trust AVIAREPS has given me and for the opportunity to grow the company, even in challenging times.”
Ralf Kuttruff, Chief Financial and Corporate Affairs Officer, AVIAREPS:
“It is an honor to join AVIAREPS and take the reins from Heinz Knolle. I am very happy to work in the industry of the most beautiful trivialities in the world: Travelling and Tourism – and all that in the number one company that stands for all these services: AVIAREPS.
