AVIAREPS to support Air Serbia as GSA across Europe

Air Serbia, the national carrier of Serbia, appointed AVIAREPS, the world’s leading international representation, marketing and communications company for aviation, tourism, hospitality, and food & beverage brands, as pan-European General Sales Agent (GSA). With immediate effect, AVIAREPS will provide Air Serbia with a full range of sales, reservations and ticketing services and support the airline’s growth in Germany, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Norway and Finland.

Air Serbia, headquartered in Belgrade, was formerly known as Jat Airways until its renaming and rebranding in 2013. From its hub Airport Nikola Tesla Belgrade and Serbian airports in Niš and Kraljevo, the airline operates regional and international flights to more than 60 destinations in Europe, Mediterranean and North America, and to a large number of destinations also in Asia and Africa through its partner airlines. The Balkan region, as well as connecting Balkan countries and mobility of their citizens, are of exceptional importance to Air Serbia. The airline plans to renew its fleet by the end of the year, which currently consists of 19 aircraft. In August 2022, Air Serbia carried more than 400 thousand passengers, the highest passenger number in August since the company began operating under its current name in 2013.

Air Serbia, as the proud successor of the first national airline Aeroput, celebrated 95 years of tradition on June 17 of this year and is in eighth place on the list of the oldest airlines in the world that are still operating.
