About the Role
- Are you ready to launch a new airline into the Spanish market? AVIAREPS Spain is growing, and we are looking for a driven Aviation Sales Manager to lead the commercial success of a major international airline in Spain. With Madrid as the main hub, you will build and lead a strong sales team, develop strategic partnerships, and drive growth in one of Europe’s most dynamic travel markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a sales team while driving revenue growth and commercial success.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and profitability.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders within the aviation and travel industry.
- Drive business development with tour operators, travel agencies, and online distribution channels, and corporate accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and further develop existing accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and opportunities within the Spanish market to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and commercial presentations for clients and management.
- Oversee contracts, fare distribution, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, events, roadshows, and product training sessions.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in aviation sales.
- In-depth knowledge of the airline industry with a strong network within the Spanish B2B travel trade and corporate travel sector.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience managing a multi-segment account portfolio and leading account teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify business improvement opportunities.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Amadeus is considered an advantage.
- Native-level Spanish with a high level of spoken and written English.
- Willingness to travel when required.
