Inside Sales Executive – Online Airline Account

Location: Lisbon city office, Portugal

Reports to: Sales Manager Portugal

Job Purpose

The Inside Sales Executive is responsible for supporting the commercial growth of a leading online airline in the Portuguese market through proactive remote account management. The role focuses on developing relationships with travel agencies, tour operators and corporate clients, increasing revenue, identifying new business opportunities and providing high-quality commercial support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of travel trade and corporate accounts through telephone calls, email and virtual meetings.
• Identify, prospect and acquire new customers across the travel trade and corporate segments.
• Promote the airline's products, routes, fares, services and sales campaigns.
• Identify, develop and follow up on new sales opportunities.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations and presentations.
• Support group requests, series opportunities and commercial negotiations.
• Organize and support webinars, product training sessions and commercial events.
• Maintain complete and accurate CRM records and prepare regular sales and activity reports.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of satisfaction and retention.

Profile

• Experience in inside sales, business development, or commercial account management.
• Experience in the aviation, travel, or tourism industry is an advantage.
• Strong sales, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, organized, and results oriented.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
• Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Travelport, or Sabre) is a plus.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required; Spanish is an advantage.

• Revenue generated from the assigned portfolio.
• Number of commercial contacts and customer interactions.
• New accounts acquired.

• Proposal conversion rate.
• Reactivation of inactive customers.
