About the role

AVIAREPS, the world’s leading provider of airline representation, tourism marketing and General Sales Agent (GSA) services, is looking for experienced Airport Ticket Office Executives to support a leading online carrier's operations at Lisbon Airport

This is an excellent opportunity for customer-focused aviation professionals with experience in ticketing, reservations and airport passenger service to join a dynamic international environment.

Key responsibilities.

• Provide professional face-to-face customer service at the Airport Ticket Office (ATO).
• Sell, issue, reissue, modify, and refund airline tickets in accordance with airline policies and procedures.
• Assist passengers with schedules, fares, baggage, travel documentation, airline services, and special service requests.
• Support passengers during irregular operations, reservation changes, and upgrades when applicable.
• Work closely with airport, handling, customer service, and sales teams to ensure seamless and professional customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with airline operational, commercial, and security procedures.

Candidate profile.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in airline ticketing, airport operations, airport passenger services, or a customer-facing aviation environment.
• Solid knowledge of airline reservations, ticketing, GDS systems — preferably Amadeus — BSP procedures, reissues, and refunds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage challenging situations under pressure.
• High level of responsibility, initiative, and decision-making ability.

Requirements.

• Minimum High School Diploma.
• A degree or professional qualification in Tourism, Aviation, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
• Fluency in Portuguese.
• Good command of English.
• Spanish and/or French language skills will be considered an asset.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Eligibility to obtain an Airport Security Pass.

Preferred qualifications.

• Experience in an Airport Ticket Office (ATO), or Airline Sales Desk operations.
• Experience handling passenger assistance during irregular operations (IRROPS).
• Knowledge of IATA rules and procedures.
• Familiarity with Departure Control Systems (DCS).
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced operational airport environment.
