General Manager Czech Republic / Slovakia (m/f/d) based in Prague

Your Mission: 

  • You develop the Czech organization and the local market. 
  • The Czech market is a valuable strategic market and the growth potential is high, so your role will be of both strategic and operational character. 
  • Within your responsibility lies development of existing key accounts and also being a part of generating new clients and open doors for new collaborations. The company wishes to take a stronger position within the aviation and tourism related industries and you will actively strive for a growth within this practice. 
  • You will also be responsible for developing the people working in the Czech organization and lead and motivate them in their daily operations. 


Your Qualification:

  • Based on your background of a leadership role in the aviation/travel industry you have strong sales skills and you are a natural business developer with a high motivation to create results and further grow the market
  • You have a documented sales and leadership track record from the aviation/travel industry and you have a sense for structure and good financial know-how. Today you might have a leading role within sales, marketing or business development and you are looking for the next career step
  • You have cross functional experiences within an airline environment and ideally you provide strategic know-how and network to further develop/enter aviation or tourism related sectors
  • You have an excellent expertise and network in the Czech travel industry
  • You are experienced as a Manager (operational and financial/business development know-how) 
  • Education in economics, travel/tourism, hotel or aviation business or similar field
  • You have brilliant skills in digital marketing and social media
  • You are used to working in a fast moving environment with flat hierarchies, open door policies, and dynamic people. You speak and write fluent English, other languages are meriting
  • You are a strong presenter and a convincing, ambitious leader
