Job Summary:
The Account Executive at AVIAREPS Japan Ltd. is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key client accounts, driving sales performance, and fostering strong, long-term relationships within the travel and tourism industry. This role focuses on promoting and representing our clients' destinations, airlines, hotels, and other tourism products to the Japanese market.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets for designated client accounts.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including tour operators, travel agencies, MICE organizers, media, and corporate clients in Japan.
* Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their objectives are met and providing regular performance reports and market insights.
* Identify new business opportunities and proactively pursue potential clients to expand the company's portfolio.
* Conduct presentations, workshops, and training sessions for travel trade partners to educate them on client products and services.
* Represent clients at industry events, trade shows, and roadshows, both locally and internationally, to promote their offerings and network with key decision-makers.
* Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to post-sales support.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions and identify new opportunities.
* Collaborate closely with internal marketing, PR, and operations teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
* Manage budgets effectively and ensure all activities are conducted within allocated resources.
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales or account management experience, preferably within the travel, tourism, hospitality, or aviation industry.
* Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing client accounts.
* Strong understanding of the Japanese outbound travel market and its key players.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both in Japanese (native or business fluent) and English (business fluent).
* Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
* Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, industry events, and international assignments.
