Job Summary**
As a Reservation & Ticketing Agent at AVIAREPS AG, you will be a key point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service in booking and issuing travel arrangements. You will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for travelers, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
Job Responsibilities**
* Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels from clients seeking travel information, reservations, and ticketing services.
* Accurately book and confirm flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel components using various Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and booking platforms.
* Issue, re-issue, and refund airline tickets in compliance with airline rules and regulations.
* Provide detailed information on travel itineraries, visa requirements, baggage allowances, and other relevant travel policies.
* Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and handle complaints efficiently and professionally, escalating complex cases when necessary.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and reservation details.
* Process payments and ensure financial transactions are recorded correctly.
* Stay informed about current travel trends, promotions, and industry updates.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service level agreements.
Job Qualifications**
* Proven experience as a Reservation Agent, Ticketing Agent, or similar role in the travel industry.
* Proficiency in at least one major Global Distribution System (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer service orientation.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and booking procedures.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing client needs.
* Familiarity with international travel regulations, visa requirements, and airline policies.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
