Reservations & Ticketing Agent

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Position overview

For a replacement within our team, AVIAREPS is looking for an experienced Reservations & Ticketing Agent to support Ethiopian Airlines from our Copenhagen operation. The role is focused on daily reservation and ticketing activities, handling requests from travel agents and passengers, and ensuring the correct application of fare rules and airline procedures.

This position is suited for a hands-on ticketing professional who values accuracy, structure, and operational responsibility.

Key responsibilities

  • Create, modify, and issue flight reservations and tickets using Amadeus, Sabre (or other GDS systems)
  • Process rebookings, reissues, refunds, and cancellations in line with airline policies
  • Handle inquiries from travel agents and passengers via phone and email
  • Ensure correct application of fare rules, ticketing deadlines, and airline procedures
  • Maintain accurate booking and ticketing records
  • Prepare operational and sales-related reports
  • Identify and support improvements in daily reservation and ticketing processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in reservations and ticketing
  • Practical working knowledge of Amadeus and Sabre
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to manage workload and priorities in a structured manner
  • Good communication skills in English and Danish (spoken and written)
  • Comfortable working in an international team environment

Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage, but not required. Experience in aviation or the travel industry is essential.

Working conditions & benefits

  • Full-time position (37 hours per week)
  • Working hours: flexible between 09:00-18:00
  • Based in Copenhagen, Denmark
