Cargo Account Executive

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop a strong relationship with your assigned account portfolio. Conduct in person business meetings as directed by the Country Manager. This relationship can be complemented by virtual meetings, phone calls and email interactions.
  • Explore opportunities for growing your account revenue and tonnage by exploring upselling opportunities or new destinations on your assigned airline network.
  • Develop and share knowledge of specialized product segments such as Pharmaceutical, Outsize, Express, Dangerous Goods or Live Animals.
  • Plan and deliver sales calls to the highest standards, through good planning and preparation of calls, including agendas, objectives and Account Development plans per customer.
  • Ensure we make use of all data available to drive strategic decision making and incremental sales.
  • Ensure effective internal and external communication is maintained with peers and management.
  • Complete weekly/monthly reports – as agreed with management processes and ensure proactive contribution to team meetings.

Your Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory)
  • Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English (mandatory)
  • Spanish is a plus
  • Essential experience: Previous work in an airline, cargo GSA, or freight forwarder, with a focus on selling air freight solutions
  • Experience in managing conflicting and changing demands of a high-pressure working environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively within a commercial setting, both in writing and verbally.
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and manipulate financial and business data
  • Flexible approach to working & willing to travel

About the position:

  • Local: São Paulo – Av. Paulista
  • Hybrid – at least 2 times a week in the office
  • Shift: 9-18h
