The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled Manager Financial Consolidation, based in Europe, preferably in Poland, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Spain, or Portugal, to join our central finance team. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Accounting, you will play a pivotal role in preparing and accurately reporting the AVIAREPS Group’s consolidated financial statements. In this key position, you will collaborate with international teams across the globe, ensuring that our financial consolidation and reporting processes are robust, compliant, and effective.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.

  • Manage the consolidation process for all AVIAREPS AG subsidiaries worldwide, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reporting.

  • Coordinate with local finance teams in over 70 countries to gather, analyse, and validate financial data for group consolidation.

  • Oversee and improve group reporting procedures, working closely with the Controlling, Accounting, and Audit teams.

  • Ensure all intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations are properly recorded and documented.

  • Support the further implementation and optimization of financial consolidation software and digital tools.

  • Prepare group-level financial analysis and management reports for the Executive Board and senior management.

  • Assist in the preparation of annual reports, statutory disclosures, and audit schedules.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in IFRS, local GAAP, and global reporting standards, and proactively implement relevant changes.

  • Drive process improvements and internal controls to increase efficiency, transparency, and data quality.

  • Provide training and guidance to local finance teams on group reporting requirements and best practices.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is an advantage.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in financial consolidation and group accounting in an international environment.

  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP (HGB) accounting principles; experience with consolidation systems (e.g., SAP BPC, LucaNet, IDL) is a requirement.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of German tax law and practical experience with transfer pricing in line with OECD guidelines.

  • Advanced Excel skills and a strong affinity for digital solutions and process automation.

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and structured approach to work with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.

  • Team player with a proactive, hands-on attitude and a passion for working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across various cultures and disciplines.
