At AVIAREPS we have a unique understanding of the Airport Industry. From bringing new airlines to your airport, to increasing frequencies, to building your airport’s brand in a target market, our global team of local experts are here to help. Through our extensive network we can connect you with the right partners and take your business to the next level.
Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN) enlisted AVIAREPS’ help in building relationships across Russia and the CIS
Key objectives included stimulating and increasing passenger and cargo traffic, and developing a new non-stop flight service between CGN and the CIS
SOLUTION
Choosing a focus group of CIS airlines, we analyzed the business potential for a direct flight connection
We identified the specific needs of CIS airlines, and helped CGN to develop a proposal that met those needs
We supported each airline in liaising with partners and building sales channels to establish the new route, for both passengers and cargo
We worked to improve awareness of CGN within the Russian aviation and travel business community. This included participating at key professional events
RESULTS
We established non-stop operations on routes for Armavia (EVN-CGN-EVN), Orenair (REN-CGN-REN), Kuban Airlines (KRR-CGN-KRR), and Ural Airlines (DME-CGN-DME)

Munich Airport
BACKGROUND
Following the launch of the new Lufthansa service from Incheon to Munich in 2008, AVIAREPS was entrusted with promoting Munich Airport (MUC) across Korea
The goal was to increase the number of Korean arrivals to MUC, and to seek direct flight opportunities with other airlines
SOLUTION
We conducted joint marketing activities with Lufthansa, and educated travel agents on the benefits of visiting MUC. This included participating in Korea’s largest travel fair, the Hana Tour International, as well hosting a “Jewels of Romantic Europe” Korea Fam trip
We built tourism partnerships, combining efforts to reach out to consumers and the travel trade
We organized meetings between MUC executives, Korean Air, and Asiana Airlines to explore opportunities for collaboration
We carried out PR activities to raise awareness of MUC, including the development of a Korean MUC e-newsletter
We implemented sales incentives for top travel agents during low season
RESULTS
In 2014, Lufthansa recorded a 4.7% increased compared to 2011 in the number of passengers to Munich Airport from Korea
Lufthansa began operating A340-600, a bigger aircraft with premium economy class on ICN-MUC route from 2015; it will provide 15,000 additional seats to MUC annually
