Sales Support Executive (m/f/d)

It is the world’s leading GSA and Tourism representation organization with 65 offices in 55 countries. Representing airlines as well as destinations, hotels, airports, cars, trains, cruises and other trade promotions, our 360° portfolio of services includes sales & reservation, marketing and PR.

We are currently looking for a dedicated person to join our international team and start as soon as possible as:

Sales Support Executive (m/f/d)

based in our London office

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support and strategic expansion of the existing customer base in the office and in the field
  • Fully knowledgeable of the airline product
  • Support in the creation and implementation of the marketing and budget plan
  • Administrative support for Head of Aviation and aviation sales managers
  • Carrying out market and potential analyses, follow up on the findings
  • Implementation of target group-specific sales and marketing measures
  • Regular pricing benchmarking and timely reporting
  • Maintain database updated for all systems and regular e-mail distribution
  • Organizing and coordinating customer events
  • Monitoring of contracts and distribution of tariffs and other airline news to the market
  • Product training and participation in trade fairs and events
  • Implementation of target group-specific sales and marketing measures

 

Your Qualification & Experience:

  • Completed studies in business administration/tourism and/or training in tourism
  • Several years of professional experience in tourism sales, ideally with an airline company
  • Understanding travel industry/aviation market and mechanics of UK trade
  • Technical understanding of airline operations, reservations and group sales
  • Technical understanding of the various channels of distribution used in the UK marketplace
  • Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint in particular)
  • Advanced organizing skills
  • Effective communication
  • Distinctive sales personality with passion for the airline industry and understanding of the segments of the travel and tourism industry
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (further language skills are an advantage, especially - Spanish)
  • Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
