About the Position

We are seeking a Sales Manager Aviation to join our Vienna office at the earliest possible date. In this role, you will play a key role in strategic business development and the expansion of our sales portfolio. You will be responsible for implementing our sales strategies and strengthening longterm relationships with our partners in the Austrian market. Your work will significantly contribute to increasing the market presence of our customer portfolio, aligned with current market trends and developments.

Your Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing sales strategies and trade marketing activities to increase market presence and achieve targets for our client portfolio
• Negotiating and closing contracts with distribution partners in collaboration with senior management
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and acquiring new business partners
• Delivering product presentations, participating in industry events, meetings, and familiarization trips
• Analyzing internal and external market data to optimize our sales strategies and create customer reports
• Working closely with the Aviation Team (Sales Executives and Sales Support) to ensure consistent standards and optimize synergies
• Collaborating with the international teams of our customer portfolio and coordinating with internal departments

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, ideally in the travel or aviation sector
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Tourism or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage
• Expertise in strategic sales and trade marketing, as well as solid knowledge in stakeholder management
• Proficient in market analysis and reporting
• Good understanding of the aviation industry and relevant market trends
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are an advantage
• Structured and results-oriented work style, competent in dealing with multinational business partners, highly flexible, and a good team player

• For this position, the collective agreement for travel agencies applies, with a minimum base salary of €2,447 gross per month, expected collective agreement overpayment, additional benefits, and variable salary components
