Sales Manager Aviation (m/f/d)

For our customer Ethiopian Airlines, we are looking for an awesome and energetic person to join us full-time as SALES MANAGER AVIATION (m/f/d) in Vienna!


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Account Management across the full sales cycle (identification, acquisition, implementation, development, and retention)
  • Develop and implement sales and market strategies to increase existing business and market share
  • Evaluate, initiate, implement and control all new direct sales activities aiming at improving the revenue and traffic results whilst being pro-active in contributing ideas on trends and developments towards achieving long and short term objectives
  • Develop and implement sales procedures and policies in line with the industry's best practices
  • Ensure effective sales and market coverage and monitor performance data & KPI's pertaining to sales and revenue
  • Monitor and analyse sales figures and trends and prepare reports for Area Management on sales and market growth results
  • Carry out regular market research, competitor analysis, and benchmarking
  • Organise and execute participation in fairs, events, seminars, road-shows, and functions

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • At least 5 years of work experience in all aspects of the airline/aviation sales environment
  • Thorough knowledge of market place, travel trends and consumer behavior in Austria
  • Ability to conduct statistical reviews and analyze results to improve operation methods and processes
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to prioritize both in terms of workload and also in prioritizing which initiatives/actions will have the greatest business impact
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English and German
  • Good team skills, but also able to work independently
  • Great interpersonal skills and a pleasant, outgoing personality
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driving license are essential

  • We offer adequate payment and only for legal reasons it should be mentioned that the minimum salary stipulated in the collective agreement is EUR 2.310. Of course, we reward professional experience and qualification with corresponding overpayment
