for AVIAHUB located in Germany, Poland, Spain, Croatia or Serbia

What is AVIAHUB?

AVIAHUB is a web-based platform tailor-developed for AVIAREPS, automating manual workflows for B2B airline ticket sales. It will make administrational processes (finance/accounting) as well as airline booking processes easier for all (international) airlines, which AVIAREPS represents worldwide. AVIAREPS is the world's leading international representation, marketing and communications company for aviation, tourism, hospitality and lifestyle brands.

Your tasks: 

• Product ownership for the worldwide rollout of AVIAHUB in terms of accounting subjects
• Responsibility to manage and integrate all mid-backoffice (accounting) system processes into AVIAREPS’ new AVIAHUB web-based platform
• Responsibility to liaise between offices (worldwide) and the developers in terms of accounting requirements for each market
• Communicate these requirements to the developers for integration into the platform and ensure a smooth integration into the internal accounting system for each market
• Provide financial and accounting expertise to guide the development and integration process
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all aspects of the project
• Ideally support sourcing of payment provider solutions for delivery of required and new payment options for AVIAREPS markets globally
• Close cooperation with AVIAREPS’ airline distribution team to ensure coordinated roll-out and market implementation

Your qualifications: 

• Experienced in leading a global project
• Experienced with interfaces between Finance/Accounting- and Sales-Systems
• Accounting Background / IFRS
• Fluent English skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing requirements
