Marketing Executive in Italy

In addition to providing well established passenger General Sales Agent (GSA) services and tourism marketing representation, clients are also offered expertise and services in digital marketing, public relations, advertising, IT solutions, consulting, financial services, airport marketing, and trade & retail promotion.

 

Scope of work:

  • Plan and implement marketing activities for our destinations’ customers in Italy.

  • Create annual marketing plans with budget responsibility.

  • Strengthen the awareness of the destinations we represent. 

  • Organize and participate in trade fairs, roadshows and product presentations.

  • Form partnerships with partners such as tour operators, travel agencies, OTAs or interest groups and organizations.

  • Build and maintain a trade database.

  • Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients & make appropriate recommendations regarding the marketing strategy. 

  • Conduct sales calls, coordinate events, and organize/escort familiarization trips. 

 

Required Qualification: 

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in the marketing, communication, or advertising industry.

  • University degree with a focus on tourism / marketing or a comparable vocational educationProfessional experience in tourism (e.g., tour operator, agency, travel agency chain) desirable.

  • Good knowledge and networks in the Italian travel industry desirable

  • Solid experience with social media platform including blogs, facebook, twitter & others

  • Proper English skills are mandatory; further knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage

  • Creative and communicative personality with analytic-conceptual thinking

  • High commitment and independent, customer-oriented action

  • Enjoy working in an international environment

  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally when required
