Head of Tourism USA (m/f/d)

USA- Remote

Your Responsibilities:

• Tourism Business Development and Client Management
• Account Direction for all tourism accounts working closely with the team
• Market research; competition analysis
• Together with the team: development, implementation and management of strategic marketing plans for: product development, B2B & B2C Marketing, partnership marketing with airlines, travel trade, brand affinity partners, social media management etc.
• Development of marketing and sales strategy for existing tourism clients in line with budgets and market requirements and directing the team as necessary to successfully implement marketing plans
• Business Development
• Reporting lines to the General Manager
• Grow the department and strategically direct the Tourism Marketing & PR Teams

Your Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in the tourism industry
• Extensive personal network within the tourism industry
• Ability to work under pressure, team spirit and coaching experience
• Outstanding written communication and presentation skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
• Bilingual or multilingual skills would be an added advantage
• Excellent skills with Digital marketing, Virtual Meeting and Social media platforms
• Ability to travel across the US and attend international events and meetings is essential
