Head of Tourism (m/f/d) for our London Office

Head of Tourism (m/f/d)

Main Tasks:

We are looking for a Head Tourism who will be responsible for the management of our Tourism department in the UK & Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tourism Team Management and Leadership
  • Account Direction for all tourism accounts working closely with the team
  • Market research; competition analysis
  • Together with the team: development, implementation and management of strategic marketing plans for: product development, B2B & B2C Marketing, partnership marketing with airlines, travel trade, brand affinity partners, social media management etc.
  • Development of marketing and sales strategy for existing tourism clients in line with budgets and market requirements and directing the team as necessary to successfully implement marketing plans
  • Business Development
  • Reporting lines to the General Manager
  • Grow the department and strategically direct the Tourism Marketing & PR Teams


Key Skills and Knowledge:

  • Higher university degree or an equivalent qualified education
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in the tourism industry with personnel responsibility
  • Extensive personal network within the tourism industry
  • Ability to work under pressure, team spirit and coaching experience
  • Outstanding written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Fluency in English, Spanish and French are an advantage
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office Products
