Head of Aviation for United Kingdom & Ireland (m/f/d)

We help our clients enter, promote themselves, and sell their products in international markets. We are looking for a dynamic personality to join us as:

HEAD OF AVIATION UNITED KINGDOM & IRELAND (m/f)

based in our London Office

Your mission:

  • You are responsible for developing our aviation business in the UK market from our office in London
  • The UK market is a valuable strategic market and the growth potential is high, so your role will be of both strategic and operational character
  • Within your responsibility lies both, the development of existing key accounts and also taking an active part in generating new clients and opening doors for new collaborations. AVIAREPS wishes to take a stronger position within the tourism related industries and you will actively strive for growth within this practice
  • Your tasks will also include leading, supporting and developing our UK colleagues according to their potential, motivating them and bringing out the best in each of them

 

Your qualifications:

  • Based on your background of a leadership role in the aviation/travel industry you have a strong mix of sales and marketing skills
  • You are a true leader who is passionate about independently growing an exciting and interesting market, like the UK, and strives for achieving results
  • You are characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit and know how to motivate and inspire your colleagues to follow your visions for AVIAREPS
  • You are a natural business developer and used to working in a fast moving environment with flat hierarchies, open door policies, and dynamic people
  • You speak and write English fluently, other languages are meriting
  • You have a documented sales, marketing and leadership track record from the Airlines or travel trade industry (OTA, Tour Operator, Consolidator) and you have a sense for structure, digital and good financial know-how. Today you might have a leading role within sales, marketing or business development and you are looking for the next career step
  • Ideally you provide strategic know-how and a network to further develop / enter tourism related sectors
  • Education in economics, travel/tourism, hotel or aviation business or similar field
