General Manager (m/f/d) Argentina

based in our Buenos Aires Office

Your mission:

  • You are responsible for maintaining and developing our business in the Argentinian market from our office in Buenos Aires
  • Argentina is an important and strategic market for our company with enormous growth potential, your role will be of both strategic and operational character
  • Within your responsibility lies both, the development of existing clients and also taking an active role in generating new clients and opening doors for new collaborations
  • Your tasks will also include leading, supporting and developing our team in Argentina to jointly embark on a business success story
  • With your hands on mentality you will lead and compile the new clients’ RFP´s
  • You develop your colleagues’ skills to benefit them and the company to support future growth
  • The recruiting, where necessary, of the best caliber of candidates to ensure the continued development of the company lies also in your responsibility
  • You will provide monthly reporting to the board
  • You ensure the business units are managed in a cost efficient manner within the budget set
  • You manage the Profit and Loss of all business units and Argentina standalone operation within company expectations

 

Your qualifications:

  • Based on your background of a leadership role in the airline/travel industry you have a strong mix of sales and marketing skills
  • You are a natural business developer who is passionate about service excellence and business growth, you always go the extra mile to achieve your targets
  • You are characterized by an entrepreneurial spirit and know how to motivate and inspire your colleagues to follow your vision for AVIAREPS
  • You enjoy working in a fast moving environment with flat hierarchies, open door policies, and dynamic people
  • You speak and write English fluently, other languages are meriting
  • A documented sales, marketing and leadership track record from the airline or travel trade industry (OTA, tour operator, consolidator)
  • You are digitally savvy and embrace innovation and change
  • Today you might have a leading role, ideally in sales & business development, or marketing and you are looking for your next career step
  • As a strong communicator you have an extensive business network within Argentina’s Aviation /Tourism/Travel Trade landscape
  • Education in economics, travel/tourism, hotel or aviation business or similar field
