Hawaiian Food Festival in Korea
Targeting the family segments, Aviareps Korea organized a major “Hawaiian Food Festival” in partnership with the Millennium Seoul Hilton Hotel in 2010. Orangerie, Hilton’s buffet restaurant, included Hawaiian food and Pacific Rim cuisines such as poi, poke, pineapple flavored desserts, etc. To add more Hawaiian ambiance to the promotion venue, the Korea office invited 4 hula dancers and 2 musicians from Hawaii and provided hula performance 3 times a day at the Hilton. The Seoul office kicked the promotion by holding a media luncheon for 20 major national media. AVIAREPS Korea in partnership also conducted a lucky draw event during the Hawaiian Food Festival, offering a chance for two hotel guests to win free trips to Hawaii, fully supported by various sponsors. The on-premise promotion generated over $100,000 worth of equivalent media coverage for Hawaii Food, and thousands of customers visited the restaurant during the promotion period
