Market profile

With a population of almost 46 million inhabitants the Ukraine is the number two CIS country after Russia. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union the Ukraine became independent. The change into a market economy was followed by an eight-year recession. Since then, the economy has been experiencing a stable increase, with an average GDP growth rate of seven percent annually. In line with this development the GDP per capita is also constantly rising. The travel market in the Ukraine is also growing – BSP revenues for example rise staidly.
