General Manager

Born in Germany, Gustavo Vaca started his career in aviation in 1989 when he joined Lufthansa German Airlines in Quito, Ecuador. As a sales representative he learned the business from scratch, receiving training in sales, reservations, ticketing and other service fields. In 1992 he moved to Spain, taking over responsibility for sales in the Andalusian area. Two years later Lufthansa and APSA founded the airport handling company GlobeGround Espana which belongs to the international GlobeGround Network part of the Lufthansa Group. Initially handling the sales and marketing division for the airport handling services, he took on the posititon of managing director. In 2006 Gustavo joined AVIAREPS and set up the new subsidiary in Spain being responsible for the whole Iberian Peninsula (including Portugal).
